Hi ya everyone Goddess is back and ready to tell you about a exciting new event that just opened recently! The event is called the Wash. This event is pretty cool in how uniquely its ran! The event runs through March 29th to April 12th! While this event is open all the items in it are priced between 10 linden to 75 linden. There are lots of amazing deals to take advantage of! The wash offers a bit of everything from applier style makeup, clothing of all sorts, and even furniture! It’s totally worth coming down to take a look at and explore around the event to see what you might need or want!
Today I showcase two of the wonderful creators of the wash! One being Pretty Kitty Design’s Arella Lunesea. The other being Xxxtasi’s Lacy Manora. Lacy managed to catch my attention with her hair base base that is just 50 linden’s for the event and her lovely eye shadow that I just down right love! I’ll get into that more in a moment. Then there was the dress! Goddess is tired of darker colors wanted something bright and cheerful. Well Pretty Kitty Design nailed it! Offering this bright rainbow like dress that Goddess just had to put on and look like a cute bunny in! What can I say Kitty Goddess sometimes wants to be a bunny! :Giggles:
As I said before I wanted to talk a bit more about Xxxtasi’s releases for the wash! The hair base is extremely nice and is omega compatible, meaning that it should work with both Catwa and Lelutka heads, along with a variety of other heads that support omega! It comes in a few standard colors, but also in the much desirable white tone. I say much desired because with a base tone of white you can tint the hair base if your chosen head supports tinting layers! Catwa does and it makes the hair base very versatile mixing and matching well with even wild colors such as Goddess’ hair! This hair base is only 50 lindens during the Wash and is a steal… It also includes system layers for those who have not taken the plunge into mesh heads yet!
Goddess also wanted to talk about Xxxtasi’s makeup. She released the eye shadow and lipstick and both are amazingly fantastic and extremely well done! The eye shadow comes in a white tone perfect for tinting! Which is exactly what Goddess did on her Catwa head! As you can see she was able to get a tone that easily matched her hair! I love white makeups for the versatility! Also the makeup fit the Catwa Lona head very well with my given shape which was a big bonus! While the lipstick didn’t come with a white version, that was ok as the palates were soft and very cute, and they worked will with the overall all look in the photo. Using a PF lip gloss on the top layer (that adds a bit of shine) and the Xxxtasi’s lipstick under gives it an extremely glossy and shiny look! Overall I was exceptionally pleased with the quality of this makeup and would have been happy paying 100-150 lindens for each! The same goes for the hair base. The quality was fantastic and would be a steal priced even as high as 200 linden. The makeups also include system layer versions!
The dress that Goddess is wearing is equally amazing and its like a unicorn and a rainbow had a baby and it was this dress! It has equal parts fantasy and whimsy! The colors are bright and cheerful, and lend it a distinctly spring-time feel. The star print on the dress is not over the top or over done lending it a hint of fantasy! The overall texture work is exactly what I have come to expect from Pretty Kitty Design’s Arella Ohmai! It’s top quality, well thought out, and lots of time and effort has gone into it! There little details like the stars progressively becoming faded at the top, the small little swirls/bubbles in the skirt, and the perfect matching of the waist cords to the outfit itself. It would have been easy to just tint the waste cords a black color and call it a day, but instead she went the extra mile and made sure the color matched the dress! I also like that she took the time to make sure that the textures align properly on the dress and that the colors fade logically into each other with no jagged changes. Overall this is another quality release from PKD, and at only 10 linden, it would be foolish not to pick up this Dress.
Goddess will have more finds from the amazing Wash sale in the next few days so until then: “hugs and cookies.”
